Case Study: UW Charter Street Heating Plant

In the fall of 2011, we assisted Boldt Construction and Barnhardt with the placement of two 270,000 pound boilers at the Charter Street heating plant.  Our role involved moving the boilers from their transport trailers and onto Barnhardt’s Goldhoffer vehicles.  Once the Goldhoffers transported the boilers into the facility, Reynolds used the 400-ton crane with the superlift attachment to assist a Boldt crawler crane in placing the Boilers onto their stands.
